When to Visit Malta

Timezone and daylight - Malta is in the Central European Time (CET) time zone. Due to its location near the equator, the daylight hours of Malta don’t vary much throughout the year (about 13 hours) further making it a great year-round destination.
Money - Malta’s currency is the euro (€). This consists of 100 cents and you’ll find notes in denominations of €5, €10, €20, €50, €100, €200, and €500, as well as coins of €2, €1, 50¢, 20¢, 10¢, 5¢, 2¢, and 1¢.
Electricity - The electricity voltage is 240V, with plug type G.
