Reine Rorbuer, Fisherman's Village
In this renovated fisherman’s village each authentic cabin is completely different and unique. Perched on wooden stilts, many cabins sit out over the shallows of the crystal-clear fjord. Newly restored, they combine the atmosphere of their old use as fishermen's dwellings with modern comfort. With private facilities each Rorbu (Rorbu singular, Rorbuer is plural) dates back over 100 years. What an experience!
